writtens passed.
oral set for 3/10, which is a week away.
got a meeting today to help figure out what i'm supposed to be doing with that week so that i can successfully defend myself from what's not meant to be an attack but is kinda anyway... or something. the grad-school-forest on the edges of the tenure-jungle is a confusing place rife with overgrowth & too-sweet blossoms luring bees to dizzy-flight danger & becoming snacks for brightly-colored gemstone birds.
& then 2 things to get ready to present for CCCCs, one for a conference a week or two after, an article to start working towards publication that i've been putting off for way too long, & then oh yeah a dissertation to plan & research & compose.
& then i'm supposed to find a job & a new place & a new life; sometimes this looks like a really big fscking hill.
